When her carriage breaks down during a rainstorm, Cecilia Penhollow seeks shelter in an ancient stone castle. But that is only the start to her troubles as something in the castle calls to her in a way she can't ignore. An old journal hints at something more sinister than even she could have imagined: If you are reading this, then I am likely dead.

Coming March 16, 2025!

Lady Sophia White, apple of her father's eye, has promised to endure one more London season. Sophia attends another ball, sips another lemonade, and dances another waltz until her head spins. Suddenly feeling ill and trying to leave the ball, her head is too fuzzy to properly react when she is shoved into the wrong carriage.

Faine Knight, local physician, makes a point of keeping his home life separate from his work. When he stumbles upon an injured woman in the woods, he does the unthinkable and brings her to his house. Not only is Faine suspicious of the wounded beauty, but she cannot remember who she is. Faine knows she can't stay, but the longer she does, the more he wonders if she isn't exactly what the doctor ordered.

Whether she remembers it or not, Sophia's past lurks between them. What they don't know could not only keep them apart, it could endanger them both.
